On March 27, Sheriff Josh Brockman initiated an investigation into the theft of a Honda 4-wheeler taken from a residence in Millerfield.
On Wednesday, May 11, Brockman obtained a warrant for the arrest of Howard Grigsby, 43, of Adair County, in connection with the ATV theft after the investigation led him to the recovery of the property in the Glensfork community.
Grigsby was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on felony charges of receiving/possessing stolen property more than $500 but less than $10,000. The ATV was returned back to the victim, and the investigation is ongoing, with more arrests pending.
Assisting in the investigation was Deputy Derek Padgett and Officer Justin Cross.
