H.M. Bottom’s emergency service number was retired Monday night by the Russell County Fiscal Court.
Bottom passed away last October and was the Emergency Management Coordinator for Russell County, Russell Springs Fire Chief, ABC and Waste Management Coordinator.
Family and friends were in attendance for the special presentation.
A plaque was presented to his family, which read:
“In honor and recognition of H.M. Bottom for his years of service and dedication to the citizens of Russell County, Service Number 180 will be officially retired April 11, 2022.”
