On June 22, the Columbia-area High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Office executed a search warrant after an ongoing investigation in Metcalfe County.
Upon search, investigators located a large quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, and prescription pills. During the search, a large quantity of ammunition, a 9mm handgun, and a large quantity of cash was also located.
Justin Neal and Cory Jessie, both of Edmonton, were charged with trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine), greater than 2 grams.
Neal and Jessie were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
Investigators were assisted by Kentucky State Police Post 15 and the Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office.
