The Russell County 10u Little League softball all-stars continued their hot streak on Tuesday night and improved to 3-0 in the district tournament. Russell County’s 9-8 win over Trace Creek (Taylor County) on Tuesday night clinched a spot in the championship game.
The title game has been moved to Friday night at 5 p.m. after a weather delay of the loser’s bracket game between Trace Creek and Nelson County that was originally scheduled for Wednesday night. If Russell County loses the first game on Friday, the “if necessary” game will be played after the first contest. The championship was originally scheduled for tonight (Thursday, June 23).
