Gary Alan Brown Jr., 21, of Prospect, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022 in Louisville, KY. He was born on June 8, 2001 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Alan accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at a young age and joined the Green Castle Baptist Church. He was a great athlete that played football at Ballard High School and as a senior he was selected to the Kentucky Allstars.
Survivors include his parents Gary Alan Brown Sr. and Sharon Blackwell Brown both of Prospect, KY and several other cousins, aunts, uncles and friends including locally by his aunt Rannie Blackwell and uncle Dale Blackwell.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday after 11 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Rev. Michael Caldwell will be officiating, and pallbearers will be his cousins and friends: Bryce, Bennie, Eli, Jordan, Otis, and DeAndre.
