They also gave all fifth-graders an opportunity to compete in a poster contest. The theme of the poster contest is “No Matter the Season, Water Safety is Important.” Posters are due April 29, and the first-place winner’s poster will be on display this summer at the Green River Lake Army Corp. of Engineers Visitor Center.

Second-, third-, and fourth-place posters will be on display at other Green River Lake Campgrounds. Other prizes will be given to all winners.
