Good morning, County Line readers, and happy Monday. The faux holiday creators are teasing all of us working today because it’s National Napping Day, on a regular Monday during a regular workweek. Who knows who even has time to celebrate today, but if you’re 5 years old or younger, or retired, we’d encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity. For the rest of us, maybe next year.
Here’s a reminder to readers to check out our Wall of Veterans and Event Calendar, and to send in additions for both. Just email email@example.com to add your event to the calendar or recognize the veteran close to you!
It’s just a few minutes before 6:30 a.m., and the thermometer at the County Line’s Adair branch in north Columbia currently reads a cool 36 degrees, and it shows an even colder 33 degrees at company headquarters in Russell Springs. Expect it remain cool and cloudy throughout the morning, with sunshine breaking through by early afternoon. The high today is 64 for the County Line’s coverage area, and no precipitation is expected.
We’re wishing big HAPPY BIRTHDAYs today to Kelsey Cooper and Samantha Hadley. As always, readers are encouraged to send additions to our birthday and anniversary calendars. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get your special dates added to the list!
