Happy National Puppy Day

Good morning, County Line visitors, and thanks for joining us. Today is Wednesday, March 23, 2022, and it’s also National Puppy Day. It seems like it would be irresponsible to encourage people to go out and get a puppy today, but if you can take care of one, go for it! Consider adopting a rescue, though. Otherwise, just enjoy the picture.

We’re coming off a busy day in The County Line coverage area, so look for plenty of content coming your way throughout the day, including recaps of high school sports and reports from local municipalities’ board meetings.

Just before 7:30 a.m., it’s already a comfortable 60 degrees at both company headquarters in Russell Springs, as well as The County Line’s Adair office in north Columbia. Russell Springs is reporting light precipitation this morning, but it’s still dry outside this reporter’s office window in Columbia. Look for sporadic showers throughout mid-morning. The cloud cover will remain the rest of the day, but no more rain is expected after 9 or 10 a.m. The high today is 66.

We’re wishing a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY today to Shaunna Royse, and as always, readers are encouraged to send additions to our birthday and anniversary calendars. Email us at countyline@adair-russell.com to get your special dates added to the list!
