James Perry Kelsay, 82, of Glens Fork, KY died Monday, March 21, 2022 at his residence. He was born on December 10, 1939 in Adair County to the late James Guy and Maude Harvey Kelsay.
Perry was of the Methodist faith and a very hard working family man. He was a Logger by trade and enjoyed rabbit hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Donette Mitchum Kelsay of Glens Fork, KY; three sons Jimmy Kelsay (Sharon), Timmy Kelsay (Janeatte) and Eddie Kelsay (fiancée Stacy Hertl) all of Glens Fork, KY; a daughter Debbie Carroll (Richie) of Elkhorn, KY; eight grandchildren, three step grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; a sister Nola Smallwood (Jimmy) of Columbia, KY and two step-brothers Clifton Hadley (Alterine) and Claude Hadley (Donna) both of Columbia, KY.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a step-brother Charles Hadley.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the McClister Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am Saturday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Pat Smith will be officiating and pallbearers will be Ryan Hadley, Zack Kelsay, Alex Kelsay, Jacob Hatcher, Reece Giles and Rodney Kelsay.
