The T.J. Community Mission Foundation held its annual fundraiser virtually on Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Cave City Convention Center. This year’s event, The Magic of Giving, embraced a Las Vegas theme and featured world renowned entertainer, Master Magician Lance Burton. The evening brought in a record fundraising total of $100,022 through corporate sponsorships, donations, a raffle prize drawing for a trip to Las Vegas, and an online auction.
Through the one-hour streaming event, which can be viewed online at magicofgiving2022.com, the T.J. Community Mission Foundation shared updates of the exciting work being accomplished by the foundation.
“We are so grateful for the outpouring of generosity from our community and region,” said Randy Burns, executive director of the foundation. “We had hoped for a packed house to enjoy the full slate of festivities which had been planned, including the incredible magic show by Lance Burton, but unfortunately, our role as the leading health care provider in this region carries with it a great responsibility to ensure we are leading by example. We look forward to future events which will allow us to celebrate the work of the Foundation in the grandest of ways!”
