Rowena Johnson, 96, of Columbia, died Saturday, March 19, 2022 at her home.
She was born May 11, 1925, in Hyden, Kentucky, to the late Johnny and Mary Smith Taylor. She was a greeter at Walmart.
Survivors include:
Three sons – Chester Maggard of Columbia, James Maggard of Glens Fork, and Joe Maggard of Columbia
Two daughters – Edna Powell Winters of Columbia and Marie Brown of Corinth, Kentucky
Five grandchildren – Rodney Maggard, Melissa Hamilton, Clint Maggard, Jason Maggard, and Doug Maggard
10 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren
Several other relatives and friends
The family has chosen cremation, and no services or visitation will be held at this time.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
