On Thursday, June 23, K-9 Deputy Chandler Staten initiated a traffic stop at 7:21 p.m. on an all-terrain vehicle operating recklessly at the intersection of KY 768 and KY 92. Upon contact with operator, the deputy believed there to be controlled substances in the vehicle. Upon roadside search, suspected methamphetamine was located.
Brandon Crawhorn, 37, of Russell Springs, was arrested and lodged in Adair County Regional Jail on charges of:
– Possession of controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine
– Possession of drug paraphernalia
– License to be in possession
– Disregarding a stop sign
– All terrain vehicle violation
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation.
