The Russell County Public Library hosted a Spring Story Stroll on Tuesday, April 19. The event allowed families with children up through fifth grade to take a stroll through the storybook “Outside In,” by Deborah Underwood, and experience reading in an interesting new way.

Pages from the story were plastered throughout the library, and fun activities and conversation-provoking questions were at each stop. At the end of the stroll, students were able to enter a giveaway and were able to get a free Kona Ice at the end of the stroll if they completed all of the story’s stops.
