“In a world where you can be anything, be kind!”

That was the message of a recent event that focused on spreading kindness and compassion toward others, held on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Jamestown Elementary School for parents and students.

The night began with a short presentation for parents and guardians on how to help students be a kindness example at JES. During this time, students learned ways to spread kindness with books and craft activities from the JES Library and the Russell County Public Library.

The night ended with a boxed dinner that attendees were able to take home.
