Whether you’ve got your motor running for a wild weekend or not, it’s finally Friday, folks! Crank the George Jones all the way up because it looks like we’re in for a good one.
The late-week trend of sunny days and milder temperatures is expected to continue. It’s currently 37 degrees at The County Line’s Adair County branch, just a few minutes after 7 a.m., and the thermometer at company headquarters in Russell Springs shows it just a tick cooler, at 36 degrees. Those numbers are expected to climb throughout the morning and early afternoon, topping out today in the high 60s. Saturday’s forecast is even warmer, with a low of 54 degrees and high of 74. Expect moderate cloud coverage both today and tomorrow.
The trend could finally break Sunday, as forecasters give a better-than-even chance of thunderstorms.
Don’t forget to check out the site over the weekend. We have a few special posts scheduled for today and tomorrow that you’re sure not to want to miss.
We’re wishing a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY today to Jordan Waggener!
