It’s National Poetry Month

Happy Wednesday, folks. We’re at the week’s midpoint and quickly approaching another hopefully fun-filled weekend. Let’s get into it.

We have no pseudo-holiday to celebrate today, so we’re acknowledging a monthlong observance today: April is National Poetry month. It just so happens that we have a talented poet on staff here at The County Line, Eric Overby, and you can check out some of his work here

Looking at today’s weather, it’s currently 52 degrees at company headquarters in Russell Springs, and the thermometer at our Adair branch in north Columbia shows 53. The high today is right at 70. There’s plenty of rain in the forecast throughout the day, so don’t forget an umbrella.

No birthdays to report today, but in case you missed the announcement Monday, Splash Carwash is giving County Line readers a chance at free car washes FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR, and there’s no cost to throw your name in the hat. Just follow this link and comment with your birthday. Include a spouse’s birthday and anniversary to double your chances at winning!
