Today’s forecast: Sunny, warmer

Downey Eye Clinic

Good morning, County Line readers! Happy Tuesday, Happy National Peanut Butter Lovers Day, and happy National Pig Day! We recommend finding your inner Elvis Presley and having yourself a peanut butter and bacon sandwich today to celebrate.

Just a little before 7 a.m., it’s still cold across The County Line’s coverage area. The thermometer at the Adair branch in north Columbia currently reads 33 degrees, slightly warmer than the 31 degree temperature just outside CL headquarters in Russell Springs, but those temps are expected to rise throughout the day.

The high in both counties today is 63 degrees, a welcome change of pace for almost anyone who has to go outside to do almost anything. Expect plenty of sunshine, and no precipitation is in the forecast.

This is where we hope to publish birthdays and anniversaries for County Line readers in the near future, so send us your special dates to countyline@adair-russell.com and we’ll get them added to the list!
